How it works

From application to bank transfer in four steps.

Every stage happens online. Here is exactly what you do, what we do, and how long each part takes.

01

Apply online

~10 minutes

Fill in six short screens covering your details, your loan, your employer and your NRC. It takes about ten minutes and saves as you go.

  • Personal details, including your NRC number and next of kin
  • Your loan amount, term and the bank account funds should reach
  • Employment details: ministry, employee number, department and work station
  • Photos of both sides of your NRC and a short face verification video
02

Employment verification

Same day

We confirm your employee number, ministry and work station against your institution. This is the step that keeps rates low for everyone.

  • We check your employee number against the institution you named
  • Your work station and supervisor details confirm you are currently in post
  • Your NRC photos are matched against the face verification video
  • Nothing is shared with your supervisor without your knowledge
03

Approval within hours

Hours, not weeks

You get a decision with the exact amount, instalment and total repayment. If we approve a different amount, you see it before anything is signed.

  • A decision usually lands within a few hours during business days
  • The offer states the exact instalment and total repayment
  • If we approve a different amount, the revised figures are shown first
  • You can decline an offer at no cost
04

Direct bank disbursement

1 business day

Funds land in the bank account you nominated. Repayments come off payroll, and every one of them shows in your account dashboard.

  • Funds transfer to the bank account you nominated in the application
  • Most disbursements land within one business day of approval
  • Repayments come off payroll on the agreed schedule
  • You can report any payment made outside payroll from your dashboard

What to have ready before you start.

Gathering these four things first turns a ten-minute application into a five-minute one. Your progress saves automatically, so you can stop and come back at any point.

A valid NRC

Clear photos of the front and the back, under 8 MB each.

Employment details

Your ministry, employee number, department, position and work station.

A bank account in your name

Any Zambian bank. The account name must match your NRC.

A short face video

A few seconds showing your full face, recorded in the app or uploaded.

You could have a decision before the end of the day.

Applications submitted before mid-afternoon on a business day are usually verified and decided the same day, with funds released the following morning.
